I know I've got to get better at avoiding what Chip & Dan Heath refer to as "the curse of knowledge"- once you know what the right thing or right tool is, it's easy to forget not everyone else knows about this stuff, too. And again, it's the experience and the small tricks and shortcuts we pick up along the way that are incredibly valuable to others. :)

Perhaps 'breakthrough ideas' come when we are engaged in doing worthy things and activities. Perhaps by doing something that seems routine to you, becomes an 'a ha' moment for others and thus a breakthrough idea is born. Happy to hear that the ideas are spreading in your circle. Keep up the great work!

So true, it's the little things...we forget the general public just doen't know, because we use these tools everyday. A group I talked to last year just started using an email service to make their emailing look more professional...a first step...and they are thrilled with the results, and being able to track, yet it seems so "old school" that I almost didn't talk about it in my social media presentation.
