We did the same thing. Received my new watch type nano two days after Christmas and I'm thrilled! We, too, are happy Apple fans for both our toys and our stock. <3

I really hope you're right. And with interest rates this low, I sure would love to see our economy shored up by the "consumerism" of house ownership as opposed to filling our homes up with more stuff. Much of the items that crowd my tiny house are old books, videos and toys, and thanks to advancement electronics, much of those needs are filled with far more efficient, and cheaper digital versions. Downloading ebooks and streaming netflix cost less than library fines. People upgrade their electronics so quickly that everything in my house is a cheap, used, just slightly less than cutting edge version that I got for a song on ebay or craigslist. Same with my furniture and clothes. The internet gives us a way to recycle much more effectively than before, and I feel good about it.

Thank you so much for your kind words about our book. We appreciate you including us on your 'best of the year' reading list!
If you have the time, Chris and I would love it if you'd leave a short review over at Amazon. We could use a few more reviews! :)
