Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Posted by Whitney on Dec 23, 2009 in Uncategorized |

I wanted to take a moment here and say thank you for everyone who has come by my blog this year, who has taken the time to engage with me, and who has given me the gift of attention, which is one of the more rare commodities these days.

It’s been a crazy year of growth and change, on almost every front.  The path forward looks equally exciting, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I’ve written and rewritten this post several times, but I end up with paragraphs that sound like sappy year-end advice columns, and they ever seem to strike the right note.  So I’ll just say quickly that I hope you find happiness and joy over the holidays.

The New Year is just around the corner, and while it’s only a date on the calendar, it can give you a sense of a new beginning and a time to start something new.  Take on something you were afraid to do in the past.  Take a small or big risk, and ask for help if you need it.  The best things happen when you take on a little more than you think you can handle, go out on a limb for a friend, or take the time to listen, enjoy and be in the moment instead of worrying about what comes next.

Thanks again for stopping by, and for the gift of your attention.  That is truly something special and I am truly grateful for your time and engagement.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

  • Whitney,

Thank you for your amazing contributions to digital media. I still remember our first conversation on the phone about Podcasting. I've let myself hold back from getting started and sharing what I have to offer. I've waited too long. "Take a small or big risk, and ask for help if you need it. The best things happen when you take on a little more than you think you can handle". Its true. You were there when I called and I won't forget that. So again, Thank you for all you have contributed. You Rock! Looking forward to 2010. Merry Christmas to you and your Family!

Thanks Drew! That's the best Christmas gift ever, knowing that I can help, and helping where I can. That makes it all worth while! I hope we can do more things together this next year!
  • Whitney, thank you for sharing your knowledge, insight and opinions. Best to you and yours in 2010.
